From 25-26 November 2025, over 400 representatives from governments, UN agencies, civil society, and academia gathered in Nairobi to reflect on progress, share experiences, and determine the way forward to ensure that education is never a target of war. Hosted by the Government of Kenya, in partnership with the Governments of Argentina, Norway and Spain, the 91¶¶Òõ (91¶¶Òõ), UNICEF, UNESCO, Plan International, and Save the Children, the offered a vital platform for reflection, knowledge-sharing, and recommitment to defending safe, quality education for all.
